If your last name is Duesler, you might like this site.

As a Duesler, I will give you an e-mail address using duesler.com as the domain for free. If any Duesler wishes to have one, I will be happy to do it. Just e-mail me what you want at bart@duesler.com. The nice thing is it is easy to remember.

As I was growing up, I heard a few stories of my Duesler family name. I thought my ancestors arrive in America as a Hessian. That was that.

In the late 1980s, I met Charles Duesler, the author of the book I have out on the net. It revived my interest in my name somewhat. Then on a Saturday afternoon in the mid 1990s, my teenage son and I ran across the Sons of the American Revolution (D.A.R.) as part of a reenactment. My son and I watch for a while. Eventually I talk to a few of the members of the S.A.R. One gave me a 2-volume book of the pensioners of the American Revolution. Of course, like I do when I am in a strange city, I looked up for a Duesler.

Lo and behold, two Dueslers were pensioners of the America Revolution. This means my direct ancestor fought the British for my freedom from a royal government.

By using Charles book, one can see how each of us (Duesler) is related. I like the idea that I know where some of my live force flows.

I hope many can see, read, and enjoy this book. There are mistakes. The book read my father’s birth date as in late spring. It was not. If any of you see a problem, please tell me. I am making corrections in the edited edition.

One thing I would like to do is join the S.A.R.. A woman can join the Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.) as my maternal grandmother was.

I need help in making this web page good.

I have enough space here to allow the posting by another Duesler, almost anything.

I am trying to get my daughter to post the Xerox of a Duesler in Ulm, Germany. I was there when she found it. The date was 1720. My last name was spelled correctly. That helps with Jacob and Marcus Duesler. Both were entitled for a pension from the United States of American. Both fought on the right side of the American Revolutionary War.

I have posted most of the book by Charles Duesler. If any of you see an error, please e-mail the correction.  I am looking into all my ancestors.  I would like help in this.

I am still trying to learn this program.
